Speaker: Molly Cross (Wildlife Conservation Society)

Abstract: Over the past five years, the Wildlife Conservation Society has invested over $10 million in more than 50 projects in the U.S. that are implementing on-the-ground adaptation actions aimed at benefiting wildlife and ecosystem conservation in the face of clmate change. I will describe the portfolio of projects and highlight some of the innovative practices they are demonstrating. That will include inovative adaptation actions, but also the creative and effective ways that practitioners have approached climate change assessment, planning, implementation and monitoring/evaluation.
