WWA Introduces Evaporative Demand Drought Index (EDDI) Maps

The Western Water Assesment High Plains and Rocky Mountain Dashboard has added Evaporative Demand Drought Index (EDDI) maps for the north central United States. These maps were added to the Drought Monitoring section alongside soil moisture and actual evapotranspiration (ETa).

Other maps for the north central region include recent temperature and precipitation, snowpack and snow forecasts, reservoir storage and seasonal outlooks, and El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO) maps and predictions, among others. The dashboard is the result of a collaboration between WWA, NCCSC, and the USDA Northern Plains Regional Climate Hub.
