Check-in Summary:  This May call will focus on: a recap of the Open Science Conference that just concluded, a discussion of the format for future monthly management project check-ins (if not verbal on the call), and selection of topics for upcoming scientific presentations.  Jeff Morisette will also give a brief NC CSC update.

2015 Open Science Conference

The 2015 Open Science Conference at CSU offered research scientists and stakeholders the opportunity to actively engage with the North Central Climate Science Center. Together, they identified climate-related research topics that directly impact management in the North Central United States and found ways to improve dialogue between researchers and land managers.

Climate Scenarios Session at the NCCSC Open Science Conference

Imtiaz Rangwala chaired this session, which had four speakers representing different CSCs. The session had individual presentations and a panel discussion. Rangwala also participated in a separate panel discussion organized by the Southern Rockies LCC staff on integrated climate change information into decision making. NC CSC Training for Early Career Scientists and Grad Students

Software for Assisted Habitat Model Training Course
