The National Climate Assessment: Actionable Science for Natural Systems webinar

The third National Climate Assessment (NCA) report, released May 6, 2014, is the most comprehensive look at climate change impacts in the United States to date. Join authors of NCA chapters on Ecosystems, Forests, and Adaptation together with representatives from the U.S.

NC CSC Monthly Check-In

May 27th: Regional climate model for the Missouri River watershed: 1981-2050 - John Stamm and Parker Norton, USGS, South Dakota Water Center

In order to coordinate between the funded projects, staff, and wider University Consortium members, the NC CSC will be conducting a monthly “check in” webex conference call.  These will start in January 2014. The plan is to conduct these through June 2014 and then evaluate their effectiveness and frequency.

These calls will take place the fourth Tuesday of the month at 11:00am Mountain Time.

Seven of the eight U.S. Department of the Interior Climate Science Centers (Alaska, North Central, Northeast, Pacific Islands, South Central, Southeast and Southwest) and the National Climate Change and Wildlife Science Center (NCCWSC) announced request for Statements of Interest (SOIs) and Proposals for funding in Fiscal Year 2015. Projects are invited that support CSC/NCCWSC science priorities as described in the guidance document below. [The Northwest CSC has committed all available funds for FY 2015 and is not accepting proposals at this time.]

Half-Day Workshop on Evapotranspiration in Fort Collins, Colorado
