Climate Adaptation for Conservation Training

This training will provide hands-on training in how to consider climate change information in conservation planning and identify adaptation actions for implementation. It will also furnish participants with feedback and coaching on their own real-world climate adaptation project. The training is led by the Wildlife Conservation Society and hosted by the NC CSC.

Climate Science Webinar to NC CSC Climate Adaptation Workshop Participants

Imtiaz Rangwala presented a webinar discussing issues related to bringing the understanding of climate science into decision making at regional scales. The discussion covered aspects related to uncertainty in climate projections and ways to incorporate them into the understanding of impacts and developing strategies. The presentation also focused on specific risks that could emerge or worsen in the NCCSC regions because of future climate warming.
