Imtiaz Rangwala, Tim Bardsley, Marcus Pescinski and Jim Miller

Western Water Assessment, Climate Research Briefing: Research briefing on SNOTEL temperature inhomogeneities. This is a follow up to Jared Oyler's paper earlier this year. Here we have done a more in-depth analysis over Colorado; discussed implications and recommendations for users who used SNOTEL or gridded products that incorporate SNOTEL; and implications for past regional climate assessments as well as what affects these findings have on our understanding of climate change in high elevation regions of the Intermountain West.
